Interactive Cooking Classes

For experienced and novice cooks, join us at the Patriot Event Center in our culinary display kitchen and encounter the colors, aromas, and tastes that emanate from our interactive kitchen, they are nothing short of amazing! Your sensory experience combined with the camaraderie and energy that occurs when you cook side-by-side with great teaching chefs, your friends, colleagues or loved ones, is collaboration at its finest!

You are invited to join us for a hands-on cooking class that puts a new spin on daily cooking with innovative kitchen techniques. Working together, each class of 12 participants creates and dines on a delightful meal created by experienced and novice cooks. Recipes use fresh and sometimes, depending on the season, locally gown ingredients to create exciting meals. Each recipe is paired with wine and the entire class will feast on their very own creations.

Cooking Instructor, Paulette Bruce:

Trained by her Nonna, Paulette grew up in an Italian kitchen. She learned to make the basics of Country Italian cooking: tomato sauce, soup, meatballs, polenta and chicken. On special days, she would watch and often tried her hands at homemade pasta. Nonna’s drying rack for the fresh pasta was a clean sheet laid over her big double bed. Here she would carefully lay the long strips of hand-rolled pasta to dry. She instantly felt a sense of accomplishment at such a young age and was thrilled to serve these classic dishes to her family members alongside her Nonna. Paulette has successfully hosted cooking classes for the past 20 years in Sacramento.
